When you’re a journalist, you’re taught from early on that the job involves relating events before anybody else, so that the reader can feel “like he’s there”. My name is Tristane and I’m a journalist. When you’re a novelist, you know that there’s nothing better than a well told story. I’m a novelist too! The world of Disney is the world of my childhood, full of memories, with “Mickey’s band” on TV at the weekend and the comic in my letterbox once a week.
We’re all the same - when major events happen, we say wouldn’t it be great to be a fly on the wall, to see how it all happened, to learn the secrets and see the hidden side of the story.
So, when I heard that Disneyland Resort Paris is celebrating its 15th Anniversary this year, little Tinkerbell, who is always hiding somewhere in the space between my ears (so say some of my friends anyway!) woke up my journalistic instinct and for Disney fans, I wanted to become that fly on the wall! The Blog is perfect for it.
Throughout this year, because I like to know everything before anybody
else and because “information is made to be diffused Tristane!” as my
journalism teacher used to say, I’m writing this blog for you so that
you will be the first to know what the Resort has in store for its 15th Anniversary. I’ll be a VIP in the land of dreams, and so will you! I’ve
got good contacts for exclusives, previews, back stage events, etc. And
the same goes for you too. As Kaa would say, “Trust in me”.
