So, it’s a very simple story, the tale of Tristane who couldn’t make it Disneyland for New Year’s Eve. It’s true - you can’t be Snow White at home and at the same time the Seven Dwarfs at the Resort! It’s all about being omnipresent and that’s one gift I don’t have! More’s the pity…

But little Tristane wanted to know what it was like in that magical place.
She glanced at her friend sitting on her sofa, her Italian friend, and she got the idea of sending a Special Correspondent or rather a Very Special Correspondent!

Dominique Fidanza… A very talented singer and the friend from the sofa! For those who don’t recognise her name, she was last year’s finalist in Star Academy 6 in France. Dominique was in Paris that day with her musician mates. They were recording an album so had to stay in Paris. She’s from Sicily. Her roots, and her family, are all over there… So she wasn’t with them for the holiday season.
So I suggested another family - the Disney family! All it took was a few days of arrangements and she was my special guest at the park. And thanks to her, I have great photos to show you! It was a magical day. She missed out on some of the fireworks because the rides were too good - well it’s difficult to see everything when you’re strapped onto Space Mountain or Big Thunder Mountain…
Time just flew by! She had a fantastic day - I must say that I wasn’t really worried about it.

The illuminated castle was so pretty. It was my New Year’s present, I mean her New Year’s present - well a bit of both really! It was a little late but better late than never as they say! Spending New Year’s Eve at Disneyland together says a lot about our friendship… Don’t you think that’s a lovely story?
