She is her new Wendy, her Mum, her nanny, her big sister… her other half basically!!

This morning, as usual, I went down the four flights of stairs that lead from my
flat to the street. The letterboxes are downstairs where on a good day you’ll
find a letter. And this morning, in my letterbox, there was a small envelope.
It was much prettier than a regular envelope as it had a lovely squirrel on the
stamp that was sending me its best wishes for the New Year. Well, I’m not sure
it was sending the wishes to me exactly, but I imagined they were mine anyway!

In this envelope there was a card from my doll Frimousse,
Tristanoclochette… She was sending me some news! Or rather, her new
Mum was sending me news. Her new Mum is called Laurence and all of a sudden
that seemed to me to be the most gorgeous name in the world! Laurence is from

Paris and told me that “I was drawn to the doll straight away!” And a few lines later, Laurence reassures
us (at least, I thought it was reassuring) about the future of Miss Dolly:
“She’ll be spoilt rotten at home with me!” So I just wanted to say thank you
Laurence!
