It all started with a simple email… Do you remember Laurent, the Head Chef I interviewed not so long ago? It began with a “Tristane! The menu has changed!”
Well, he didn’t open with that particular question - I imagine that he asked how I was and was his usual polite self before that! But anyhow, would you believe that he had guessed that inside your favourite and devoted blogger (that would be me) hides a greedy guts?! “How has the menu changed?” I asked him and he explained everything: new dishes, new flavours so there was nothing left to do but… try it out! (I sound a bit like Indiana Jones don’t I? Seriously?!)
The Silver-Spur, is a well-known restaurant in Frontierland! So now’s the time to open the summer menu!
Of course, celebrated as I am for my bravery (and greediness!!), I went to try out these lovely seasonal dishes so that I can advise you on your next culinary Disney expedition!
Well all I can say is that Indiana Jones must eat very well every day!! It was absolutely delish!! And remember, you don’t have to be as greedy as me

I ate there oon May 1st and had the filet mignon with roasted potatoes. we also had the pleasure of meeting someone who told he was the head chef from disney. He was the most pleasent and funniest person I had met in france. He even gave us a bottle of wine and discounted our meal, viva la france. I would like to personally thank him for giving the experience of a lifetime in France, unforetunately I do not know how to contact him.

The Silver Spur might be good for you high rollers, but what happened to the Roquefort, Walnut & Lardons salad at the self-serve restaurants? It was so gorgeous we used to make it for friends & family and call it ‘Disneyland Salad’.
And now it’s off the menu! Disaster!
We are back home now & it’s mine and Mrs E-D’s wedding anniversary (happy A Mrs E-D). So for starters I had Disneyland salad & she had a veggie alternative. Happy memories!
