It’s the story of a girl who looks like me. She writes stories and articles the best that she can and always tries to make her blog readers happy on a daily basis.
And then, the end of summer eventually comes and so do her neatly tanned friends (what’s trendier than a shiny neat tan?).
Mind you, I’m not asking for the Bahamas or for California, but I really could use some help here… just for once.
So, what about you people writing an article for me?
And, as I am the one with the power here, I will publish my favorite ones.
The theme is the following: “Your best memory in Disneyland Resort Paris”.
Please, send your best work to: tristane15th@googlemail.com
So, like Madonna sings: “What are you waiting for?… Give it to me… yeah…”

Even if you’re very clever ….. Not one of you knew it all, no-one knew all the details of the origin of things … Why Disneyland? In the beginning, in the very beginning in California…. Actually it has to be said that there isn’t just one answer, but several, thousands … Well maybe a few less than that! :-)… But all put together they are THE answer. At the beginning of everything there was, of course, Walt Disney, the genius … And to tell us all about the origins, there’s Laurent Cayuela, of course… Because without him the blog wouldn’t be quite the same would it? Images and ……History!

Remember, just a few reports ago (Tristane’s measurement of time) …. It was at the end of one of those memorable interviews with Laurent Cayuela. That day he promised me a video meeting to explain how the crazy idea came into being, in the well-ordered head of Walt Disney himself, to create one day a theme park based on Mickey Mouse, all in a park the size of a village, with its own population. Crazy when you think about it ….And since everything comes to she who waits, I had my meeting with our man so that he could give me the answer to this difficult question!
Was it after a dream? A present for a newborn child? A stupid bet?
However did this unbelievable project come into being in the imagination of a genius?
So you see, I’m going to get the answer; yes I have thought about doing a panorama of all your theories …. It could be fun! You’ve only got a short time left to send in your suggestions - I’m waiting!!

High School Musical 2 is an amazingly well prepared show with absolutely nothing left to chance. To improve what is already nearly perfect, to dazzle and amaze you even further, the teams go without sleep to rehearse without bothering the visitors… Here’s our report

I told you that a show like High School Musical 2 is an amazing machine that day after day offers people the very best. But at its very foundations High School Musical 2 is above all talented dancers, like Erwan, who have got here thanks to their tenacity and perseverance. Here’s the interview.

Behind a show like High School Musical 2 are hours and hours of rehearsals, out of breath dancers, junior directors called Françoise, junior directors called Françoise and junior directors called Françoise… Are you catching my drift?!

If you were at the Resort for the weekend of 5th April, you may have thought April Fool’s Day had come late this year or that you were hallucinating, or having a total brain overload!! Did you think you had seen French celebrities everywhere? Bruno Solo, Zoé Félix, Emilie Dequenne, Marc Lavoine, Thierry Frémont, André Dussollier, etc, etc, etc… Well don’t sign up for any therapy yet… You weren’t dreaming?! They were there because the weekend of the 5th April was the official inauguration of the two new attractions, The Tower of Terror and Stitch Live!
There were famous people all over the place with their kids… And on the Saturday evening once the doors of the Resort were closed, they enjoyed a very special gala evening with a sound and light show to take your breath away. I took it all in and so did my camera, we covered the whole two days… And even the evening’s entertainment! So I’ll soon be showing you my own version, stolen from the Stars
;-)…For the moment, here are the official videos!

Laurent is head chef at Disney… And that’s no easy task. You’ve got some people that eat early, then those who eat late, people who like sweet things, and also steak and chips fans… Laurent has to think of absolutely everyone. I’ve tasted Laurent’s cooking… And I love the fact that he thinks of everything!!

Virginie is statuesque but that’s not all… Virginie also adorns the little statues of Mickey with gold leaf. She does the same for other characters too. Here you can see Virginie working her magic…!
