When I woke up this morning, it was a lovely day. I went out to buy some bread, humming to myself, and joked with the baker… In other words, I’m in a great mood (not that this is rare, but still!).
All this to say that apart from the irrepressible pleasure of babbling on about my life, I’m telling you all this so that you know the reason behind the little game I’m about to invite you to play

A
piece of advice: in life, if someone shuts the door on you, go in
through the window! In the case in point, this is exactly what I did to
find out a little more about the two upcoming attractions to be opened
in June: Cars Race Rally and Crush’s Coaster. The worksites are
off-limits to the public, so I turned myself into a journalist, press
card and all, to receive a media visit.

Seeing Tristane in front of these cutesy cars is like seeing a kid in a toy store (or the children’s section in the Harrods department store for those who need a concrete image!). Some are blue, some are red or green… and the cars have different eyes depending on their shapes. But, of course, you have to see it to believe it…

As I’ve told you, Cars Race Rally is a ride that evokes the Mad Hatter’s Tea Cups at Disneyland Park. 12 cars with 4 seats each, entirely designed and dreamed up by Disneyland Resort Paris for this attraction. Don’t look for them in the film, because they’re one-of-a-kind! You can imagine all the work that it took on all levels to create all of these different models. Hours of brainstorming, imagination in action, sculpture and painting… And all of this for us! But, hey, we’re worth it!

When you watch Disney’s Once Upon a Dream Parade and hear “Just like we dreamed it…”, you’re listening to Sunny Hilden. So, me being me, I wanted to know more about the person who wrote the lyrics that have become part of the Disney legend.

remember Cars, the story of the little champion racecar who’s a big show-off and who quickly learns about life, humanity, humility and true values amongst a small group of ageless cars in a lost town off Route 66. This is an extremely general summary, but you’ll agree that I got the big picture right. I also loved the film, but I’m getting off track here!

I kept my promise and here it is! The complete video of the creation of the new Crush’s Coaster ride! I fought long and hard to get it… but I think it was well worth it! Of course, I’ll let you decide…

As I’ve already mentioned, Crush is going to shake you up, whirl you around and take you to a place where you’ve never been before: right in the midst of the powerful East Australian current. This is the best part of this sensational ride: it plunges you into the depths of the ocean with special effects and bubbles to boot! The cherry on the cake (okay, maybe a cake isn’t the best underwater analogy…) is one of the final scenes of this tortoiseshell adventure. It’s the fastest part that spins you around like a corkscrew at a speed that depends on the weight of the people in the tortoiseshell! In short, you’ll never experience the same ride twice. It all depends if you’re facing forward or backward or sitting on one side of the shell or another… The best thing to do is to try it when the time comes. And of course, we’re all waiting for the time to come!!!

you know, Crush’s Coaster is the first real ride inspired by the Disney Pixar film Finding Nemo.
Settled in a small tortoiseshell, the visitors weave their way through the maze of Nemo’s world, from the great big ocean and coral reef area to the warm East Australian currents. There’s no need to remind you that the décor for this new attraction required a gargantuan amount of work well in advance of its opening. For many months, the Disney imagineers recreated coral and shells bursting with marvellous colour, with the help of special effects worthy of the greatest Hollywood productions.
