Frimousse1

…Or almost. Her exact name is Tristanoclochette ;-) I followed your advice and comments and named my little doll with my far-from-boring first name! I worked hard with a needle, thread and some good intentions to create this little mademoiselle who takes herself for a fairy princess. My “frimousse” doll will be sold with all the others of her family, with proceeds going to UNICEF. She was born on 1st December 2007 right in my living room! So, on her ID card, her birthplace is “Maisonland” (”Houseland”), which is pretty much the truth.

I did my Julius Caesar, just to see what it was like… And I was amazed and completely won over by so much beauty! And, although I’m blonde, I’m not that easy to impress! Except… Except that in this case, the Disney on Ice team decided to completely wow the Zénith… And it did! Two hours of entertainment, two hours of amazing performances (with an intermission, just to get you excited about returning to the show), two hours of very professional figure skating (when your casting includes international athletes, you’re sure to get a magical result).

As you already know, Pin Trading involves the exchange of pins at Disneyland. But who is the designer behind this activity? Who dreams up the future pins that will become collector’s items? Who chooses the characters to highlight at certain moments and not others, because that’s what he decided and that’s the way it is? Who is the hot shot behind the pin trend? In short, who is the god of the modern badge at Disney? It’s Greg! And I went to see him because I had never met a god before! Greg’s not a bad name for a god, don’t you think? Honestly, it’s a lot less ridiculous than Zeus or Apollo… ;-)

Hello ! My name is Dee Dee. I’m part of the big family of “Frimousses de Créateurs“, which were displayed at the Petit Palais in Paris several days ago. My objective, like that of all those in my tribe, is to be sold for the highest price possible on 29 November at Drouot, with proceeds going to UNICEF.

I’ve already told you a bit about this. If you remember, this great event is being organised by Disneyland Resort Paris for the benefit of Unicef…Don’t worry, I’ll jolt your memory by the end of these few lines. In any case, get ready, because it’s majorly important.

Thanks to the generosity of designers and the initiative of Disney, on 19th November, an auction will take place at Christie’s in Paris (9 avenue Matignon, 8th district), under the hammer of Lionel Gosset.

After becoming used to seeing life in orange, Halloween style, I got up one morning, headed off to the park and… something had changed.

Yes, that’s life, days go by, the seasons change, and from 10th November the Halloween period makes way for Christmas and a certain bearded old man ! So it shouldn’t really come as a surprise that Disneyland Resort Paris has put its Christmas colours on, but my goodness it’s beautiful !

In 2005… in Disneyland Resort Paris, the scariest thing imaginable for the vertigo sufferer that I am appeared in the park! Let me help you… I’ve already mentioned it. Another clue: I enjoyed it (yes, I know it’s surprising, seeing how I introduced the subject).

Oh alright then, I’ll tell you. In April, for the first time ever, the biggest tethered balloon in the world, Panoramagique, settled on the lake in Disney Village. From up high, visitors could admire the park and the surrounding landscapes. Now, I’m already small, so from up there, I disappear from view! But that doesn’t really matter!

P1010010_2 5, 4, 3, 2, 1, 0….We’re off! (all together now for more effect;-). Disneyland Resort Paris opens its Halloween ball!

From 6th October, the Park will be filled with pumpkins, broomsticks, pointy hats and other such paraphernalia. It’s Halloween ! All you baddies out there take advantage, it’s only once a year!

In 2001, in the middle of January, life was about to change once and for all for Stefan Seyffardt. So who’s he then ? A hero ? A smart inventor of new attractions ? An extra terrestrial ?

Let me help you. He’s German. And no, he’s not Claudia Schiffer’s ex! He’s the 100 millionth visitor to come, with family, to the park. And he came at the right time, because he and his family won lifetime passports to the Resort ! That’s what happens when you’re in the right place at the right time.

Last Sunday, for a brief moment, I thought that rugby fever had got me! After leaving my humble abode at nine in the morning, France Inter (radio station) had already mentioned three times the sporting event that’s making Paris (what am I talking about, I mean France, the world even!) buzz at the moment. So, after half an hour of listening to talk about an oval-shaped ball, I was passing in front of the Eiffel Tower when I saw, in the middle, a huge rugby ball - normal, it’s the rugby world cup after all!

When I got to Marne la Vallée, the car next to me was sporting the Springboks’ colours. So here I was, pursued by a competition about which I had only managed to note one thing: France wasn’t likely to win! So, put yourself in my shoes - when I got to the Resort and I saw seventeen of the South African rugby team’s players, I almost called my shrink for hallucinating!
