It’s much easier to manage games than people at this age, I’ll tell you that for nothing! (you’d think I’m good for the straightjacket with comments like that!)
Be a little more pragmatic Tristane for goodness’ sake!

The answer to MG13: the troop came for The Legend of Mulan (1998) at Videopolis all the way from China (I know - it wasn’t the hardest of questions…).

And the new question straight away…
Who wrote the music for this Videopolis show?

It’s also my birthday and my house number… Are you really interested in all that? No? Well - quite right you are too!

For MG12, the answer was of course Excalibur… Do you remember? In Fantasyland, “The Sword in the Stone” with Merlin the Magician and the sword Excalibur who had to find out the identity of the king of the Enchanted Kingdom.

Let’s get back to more fun stuff - but be careful, this is my special number even if you’re not particularly interested ;-) :
What nationality is the troupe that performed this show? Here’s a clue: I’ve been there and 12 hours flying is a long time!

In the beginning it was just a little game, not even that - it was a mini-game, a baby game, a little darling, cutie-pie game… And now it’s up to its twelfth issue! Almost an adult!

For its little brother (MG11), the answer was: the original version was performed by Peabo Bryson and… Celine Dion. The film Beauty and the Best (1991) won two Oscars, one for best music and one for best song. The French version was sung by Charles Aznavour and Liane Foly. The amazing Beauty and the Beast show was performed on the Videopolis stage between 1992 and 1997.

The Mini-Game will always exist…It’s nearly a Mega-Game now don’t you think?! Here’s the MG12 question: what was the name of the sword that everyone was concerned with in this show?

Well after that quick visit to Cyrano de Bergerac… And why you ask? Because!!! Because I had to find an allusion that matched the class of the answers I’m expecting for the MG11 question which is… Whose voice is this?

Oh by the way I nearly forgot, carried away by the words of the great Edmond Rostand… The answer to MG10 was: The Legend of Pocahontas inaugurated The Chaparral Theatre in Frontierland in 1996.

Right - calm down Tristane - future losers are hanging on your every word for the next question! ;-)…

The answer to MG8 was music from the Legend of The Lion King show (2004) which is still playing on stage at Videopolis

So - here is the new question:

This singer, who was unknown when he performed this song, is now very famous (as you know, Disney is synonymous with talent spotting!)… Who is he? I’ll help you… a musical set him on the road to glory and got him invited to talk shows on French TV…

…Because you know as well as I do that going a little crazy never does any harm! So if I’m going to go a little crazy today, I might as well make sure it rhymes!! It’s much more classy don’t you think?! J

The answer to MG5 is: Disney’&req;s Fantillusion&req; appeared for the first time on 5th July 2003.

For our next question, one of the BEST in our TEST, which famous composer (not immUNE to a TUNE) inspired this parade? Today was the day I reHEARSED my VERSE…Budding poet that I am!

No way! The Mini-Games are for young and old alike you know - there’s no discrimination on this blog!

The answer to MG4 was Just like we dreamed it, which is the current song of the Disney’s Once Upon A Dream Parade at Disneyland. One of the particularities of this parade is that fragrances are diffused as the floats go by (too easy? Well some of you fell into the trap…but I’m saying nothing! Mm-mm :-p)

So, here we are for the fifth opus and I’m turning up the heat…
In what year did the parade appear with this sweet melody? Ha ha… It’s not as easy as you think kids! (yup - even vintage bloggers can be kids all their lives, can’t they?!)

…Well alright, I did kind of borrow the title from a movie, but at the same time a part from Terminator, there aren’t that many sequels that run to 4…

First of all, the answer to MG3:

It was indeed Disney Cinema Parade (2002), the Walt Disney Studios parade designed by the famous director of the Cirque du Soleil: Franco Dragone.

…And for the fourth game and because I love you all so much, here’s a relatively easy question: What is the exact name of this song? Be careful because it’s a trick question! And a musical question puts some music on the blog so there you go! ;-)

Well, loads of you got the answer ;-) MG2 was too easy, I agree. In case you didn’t get it, the answer was:

The Disney Imagination Parade (1999)

There were seven floats five of which represented the five continents.

Shall we carry on..? Which parade does this music come from? Feel free to give as many details as you can as well as the Parade title.

You may find it a little easy but I love this music - and you can show me exactly how brilliant you really are ;-)
