Yes - I promise it’s true… There was Orange everywhere: I was a bit confused initially, I thought there was some kind of colour mix-up! Don’t laugh - that kind of thing must happen every now and again! A was in the Park and there were these orange things everywhere, pumpkin men, events with Mickey, his friends and even Disney Villains! It was a festival of Orangeness!

Code Orange, Code Orange… That’s all well and good but if the Resort is getting oranged up for Halloween, I didn’t see why your blog should miss out on a little citrus face lift! So here it is – A new look, that even a fusspot like me thinks is great! Now that’s what I call style, ladies and gents. All this fruity talk is even making me hungry for the witch’s apple from Snow White…! But you’d come and wake me up wouldn’t you? Promise you would?!!

Seriously, those parties are pretty cool - you always have a good time!

Do you remember? I told you about them already… Or I mentioned them briefly in passing… On 10th, 17th, 24th and 28th October at Disneyland Paris and, more precisely, in Fantasyland at 8pm and 11pm, we’ll all be there at the Halloween-code-orange-party!! (yes, that’s a brand new word from my personal made-up vocabulary - any problems with that?!!)

In Disney years, time goes by far too quickly because we’re soooo busy - and so much the better! The problem is…Halloween is just round the corner (well nearly). And on the Web, it’s already here! Yup - pumpkins, trick or treating, the whole lot…. And the orange dress code is back. On the new Disney Halloween website, it’s all going a bit mad (slightly mad, we’re still keeping it together…kind of). The atmosphere sets the tone, with creepy living dead laughter and mysterious music… But the weirdest thing is that you can’t trust what your eyes can see…Everything shifts and morphs! Pure becomes evil, goodies become baddies…Even Peter Pan changes into…a pumpkin!

…And apparently it suits her better than others seeing red! The great coordinator of the show put on every morning in the park until the end of the month explained to me, all smiles, how it all began with one crucial question: “What would Disney’s Villains do if they were to organise a super party?!”. Let’s meet her.

Halloween, which falls on 31st October this year ;) is one of those yearly events “not-to-mess up”, as they say.
There are others like that: New Year’s Eve, for example. So, here we are in mid-October; the game is to weigh up the different possibilities we have and, using our instinct, choose the best option, in the knowledge that, even if we spend the night curled up in bed with a hot water bottle and runny nose, we have to pretend and say “Oh, I had a greeeeeat time. I don’t know about you, but for me, it was excellent” (to be said with a maximum of conviction and using your best acting skills).
But, rather than lying, why not make the right choice (much easier if your acting skills aren’t up to much ;-).

From 6th October, the Park will be filled with pumpkins, broomsticks, pointy hats and other such paraphernalia. It’s Halloween ! All you baddies out there take advantage, it’s only once a year!

When you’re hopeless, totally and 100% hopeless, you’re doomed for life (I adore this self-pity that typifies me and makes all those around me say “no, of course you aren’t hopeless”!)Â
Well I apologise to all those who try to encourage me, but I played the three mini-games on www.magichalloween.com and I can’t begin to tell you what a disaster it was!

Some say that the secret to success is being in the right place at the right time. And sometimes, that place is the Champs-Elysées roundabout or Miromesnil metro station. And if I keep on being so vague, you’re not going to be any the wiser are you? What am I talking about this time ?

Alright then, I’ll explain. In this roundabout kind of way, I wanted to get to Disneyland’s next ad campaign for its Halloween festivities. Yes, and ?
